Welcome to Warton Honey.
Harvested within a three-mile forage radius of our hives, our signature Warton Honey is a liquid map of the North Warwickshire countryside. Alongside our signature local harvest, we are proud to introduce occasional Guest Selections—bringing you exceptional, handpicked honey from trusted nearby apiaries.
Beekeeping at Warton Honey isn't about mass production; it's about the guardianship of the colony. We prioritise hive health above all else, ensuring that every jar we produce is raw, untreated, and exactly as the bees intended.
We are proud to be a part of the Warton community. By supporting Warton Honey, you are supporting the local biodiversity that keeps our village and surrounding areas green and thriving.
Warton Honey: Signature Soft Set Honey (Spring Harvest)
Signature Soft Set Honey
The Ultimate Spreadable Luxury
For those who love the rich taste of honey without the drips, our classic Warton Soft Set is the ultimate luxury. This beautiful jar is a celebration of the Warwickshire spring, harvested early in the season when the local fields are a vibrant sea of yellow. Our bees gather nectar predominantly from local Oilseed Rape (OSR) blossoms and early spring hedgerows. Because spring honey naturally wants to set quickly, we gently and precisely guide the crystallization process to create a perfectly stable texture that is as smooth as butter.
The Flavour Profile:
The spring OSR forage gives this honey its signature beautifully pale, creamy colour and a wonderfully soft, smooth, and flowery taste. It melts slowly and luxuriously on the tongue, offering a clean, delicate sweetness with an incredibly velvety mouthfeel.
Texture: Creamy, velvet-smooth, and perfectly spreadable.
Best Enjoyed: Spread generously over hot buttered toast, morning crumpets, or freshly made bread.
2026 Spring Soft Set: Private Allocation Only
Spun straight from our Warton apiary, this year's micro-batch has settled into a beautifully smooth, creamed texture. Because nature gave our bees a very finite window for early spring forage, our yield is exceptionally small. Jars are strictly limited to one per person and are entirely reserved for neighbours on our private waitlist. Keep a close eye on your messages for pickup details.

The Flavour Profile:
Beautifully light and elegant. It features our signature soft, smooth, and distinctly flowery taste that is gentle on the palate. A beautifully balanced, crowd-pleasing classic with a delicate, lingering sweetness.
Texture: Perfectly fluid, smooth, and golden.
Best Enjoyed: Drizzled over morning porridge, stirred into fine teas, or simply enjoyed straight from the spoon.
Guest Apiary Release
Available Now
Limited Edition: Seckington Guest Apiary Honey
A Limited-Run Guest Selection
To keep your cupboards stocked while our own Warton hives are busy preparing the next harvest, we have partnered with a small, traditional apiary in the nearby village of Seckington. This is a strictly limited, temporary run to bridge the gap in our supplies.
The Flavour Profile:
Every apiary has its own unique flavour story. Because this honey is shaped by different local countryside flora in Seckington, it features a deeply traditional, robust, and distinct flavour profile that is entirely separate from our usual smooth Warton house style. A rare treat for the curious honey lover.
Availability: Very limited number of jars. Once it's gone, it won't be restocked.
Best Enjoyed: Wonderful in baking, stirred into robust morning teas, or glazed over roasted roots where its distinct character can truly shine.
Our Brand Promise: We only partner with local bee keepers who share our passion for bee welfare and raw, quality honey. This guest release allows us to support a fellow Warwickshire apiary while bringing you something truly different.
Swarm Collection Service
If you live in Warton or the surrounding North Warwickshire area and have spotted a honeybee swarm on your property, please don't panic. Swarming is a completely natural part of the honeybee lifecycle. While a cloud of thousands of bees can look intimidating, they are usually just resting while scout bees look for a new home.
As local beekeepers, we offer a safe, responsible honeybee swarm collection service. We will safely retrieve the cluster and relocate the bees to a secure apiary where they can be properly cared for.
We are local members of the BBKA (British Beekeepers Association) who can help with swarm collection.
We get a lot of calls for misidentified bees! Before you get in touch, please use this quick guide to check who has moved into your garden:
1. Honeybees (We CAN Collect These)
What they look like: Small, slim, and varying from golden-brown to dark grey.
The Swarm Behaviour: They form a large, tight, distinct cluster—often looking like a giant "beard" or football hanging from a tree branch, fence post, or wall.
2. Bumblebees (We CANNOT Collect or Move These)
What they look like: Very round, fat, and incredibly furry, often with bright yellow, orange, or white stripes on their tails.
Their Nesting Behaviour: Bumblebees do not swarm. They live in very small colonies (usually fewer than 200 bees) and love to nest in bird boxes, compost heaps, under sheds, or in the ground.
Our Advice: Bumblebee nests only last for a single summer, are highly beneficial for your garden, and the bees are incredibly docile. Because they are vital pollinators, they should be left alone to enjoy their short season.
3. Wasps or Hornets (We CANNOT Collect These)
What they look like: Bright, distinct yellow-and-black stripes with shiny, hairless bodies.
Their Nesting Behaviour: They live in grey, papery ball nests in roof spaces, sheds, or holes in the ground. If you have a wasp problem, you will need to contact a local pest control specialist.
If you have a confirmed honeybee swarm, please get in touch with us immediately so we can act before they move on to a trickier location.
Call/WhatsApp: 07364 121884
Send a Photo: Texting or WhatsApping us a quick photo of the bees is the absolute fastest way for us to identify them and help you!
What to Tell Us: Your location, how high up they are, and roughly what size the cluster is.
Please Note: For safety and liability reasons, we can only collect accessible honeybee swarms and cannot dismantle chimneys, roof tiles, or structural brickwork.
